Maple Iced Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • ½ tsp matcha powder
  • 5 oz hot water
  • 10 oz milk
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich taste)

Method

  1. Use a fine-mesh strainer to sift the matcha powder into a heatproof bowl.
  2. Add the maple syrup and pour the just boiled water over the mixture.
  3. Whisk vigorously for about 30-45 seconds until the matcha has no clumps and the mixture is slightly foamy.
  4. Pour the ice and milk into two glasses then top with the hot matcha mixture.
