Ingredients
Ingredient for the iced tea:
- ½ cup golden maple syrup
- 5 cups water
- 2 tea bags
- ½ cup fresh mint
- 1 sliced lime
Ingredients for the maple ice cubes:
- 3 tbsp amber maple syrup
- 1 cup water
- ¼ cup fresh mint
Method
For the tea:
- Boil the water and maple syrup in a large saucepan then add the tea bags and the mint.
- Let steep for 5 minutes then discard the mint and the tea bags.
- Place the tea in the fridge to cool.
For the maple ice cubes:
- Mix in a jug water and maple syrup.
- Put one mint leaf in each square of your ice cube tray.
- Fill with the ice cube tray with maple water then freeze for at least 2 hours.
- Serve the cold iced tea with maple ice cubes and garnish with lime and mint leaves.
