Spicy Maple Margarita

Ingredients
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp Tajin
- ⅖ cup fresh lime juice
- 2 green chillies, thinly sliced
- 2 lime slices
- ⅖ silver tequila
- 4 tbsp pure maple syrup (preferably amber syrup for its rich taste)
- Crushed ice, to serve
- Extra green chillies and sliced limes to garnish
Method
For the salt rim garnish:
- Combine salt and Tajin powder in a shallow bowl.
- Run the lime slices around the outside of the two tumblers, then dip into the salt-Tajin mixture.
- Set aside while you make the margarita.
To make the margarita:
- Add the lime juice, chili, tequila, and maple syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until the shaker is ice-cold to the touch.
- Strain into the prepared glasses, add fresh ice and garnish with extra chillies and limes.
