Maple Spicy Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients
For the garnish:
- 1 tbsp sea salt flakes
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 4 lime wedges
Ingredients:
- 11/2 oz fresh watermelon juice
- 11/2 oz tequila
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz pure maple syrup (preferably golden for its delicate flavour)
- ½ oz smooth orange juice
- 1 pinch chilli powder
- 1 watermelon wedge
Method
- To make the watermelon juice, scoop the watermelon flesh into your blender and blitz until smooth.
- Prepare your margarita glass: On a small, rimmed plate, mix the salt and paprika together. Run a wedge of lime around the top of each glass then dip the top of the glass into the salt blend.
- Add ice cubes to your glass and set it aside.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the watermelon juice, tequila, lime juice, maple syrup and orange juice.
- Secure the lid to the shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
- Strain the liquid into your prepared glass, add a lime wedge and sprinkle one pinch of chilli powder.
