Meditation with Maple: A mindful morning of nourishment, flavour and inspiration

Last week, we welcomed a wonderful group of media and influencer guests to Meditation with Maple, a mindful morning designed to inspire transformation and progress, the heart of our Maple in Motion campaign. The event was all about slowing down, reconnecting with ourselves, and discovering the nourishing benefits of 100% pure Canadian maple syrup.
Move Forward in 25 with maple
This year Maple from Canada is celebrating the theme of transformation, something maple knows well. From tapping the trees to the careful boiling process that turns sap into syrup, it is a true journey from tree to table. We want to encourage people to enjoy maple in their everyday cooking, not only for its rich flavour but also as a natural source of nourishment and fuel for the body.
A morning of mindfulness and nourishment
Our guests began the day with a calming sound therapy session led by wellness leader Tanya Ali Jani. For an hour, the room was filled with soothing tones that helped everyone reset, reflect, and realign.
Afterwards, we moved to a relaxed space for refreshments and a talk by certified nutritionist Marika Ward, who shared her expertise on the nutritional benefits of maple and the fascinating process of maple tapping.
Lunch was a maple-infused feast of maple-marinated salmon or tofu Buddha bowls, paired with nut- and gluten-free granola, and refreshing drinks including maple matcha and herbal teas.
Inspiration from our maple ambassadors
We were also joined by both of our maple ambassadors, Ashley Alexander from Gather & Feast and Cherie Tu from Thriving on Plants. Together, they shared their love for 100% pure Canadian maple syrup, their go-to ways of using it, and why it’s a staple in their kitchens. From drizzling over breakfasts and blending into smoothies to creating savoury marinades and dressings, both Ashley and Cherie inspired guests with fresh ideas for incorporating maple into everyday cooking.
Exploring the flavours of maple
To finish, guests enjoyed a maple syrup tasting, sampling different grades of 100% pure Canadian maple and discovering the unique flavours each one offers. From delicate golden to rich dark, each grade told its own flavour story.
Maple as a source of nourishment and fuel
The Meditation with Maple event was a beautiful reminder that maple syrup is more than a sweetener, it’s a versatile, natural ingredient that supports both flavour and wellbeing. Whether drizzled over breakfast, stirred into drinks, or used in savoury dishes, 100% pure Canadian maple syrup can be part of a nourishing, balanced lifestyle.
We look forward to continuing our Maple in Motion journey, inspiring more moments that connect mind, body, and taste.
